Health care practices have no doubt been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, not least in the management of diabetes-related ulcers where prompt action is a necessity to reduce the risk of hospitalisation or life-altering complications. During World Diabetes Week, join us for this inspiring story as one patient shares their journey to healing from the cusp of amputation during the pandemic, and the destination that was their constant motivation. For this patient, negative pressure wound therapy was an integral part of their journey; the webcast will provide practical tips for patient selection and how to support the patient to self care.
